Spinal cord paralysis

Posted: Sep 18, 2011

I am suffering from near quadriplegia but still typing as I can still barely feel my hands.  This may still be MS or just failed neck surgery.  Please pray for me as I know all of this is about to come to an end as I have lost function of my arms.  Please pray God will provide people and money for my needs and also a compassionate doctor.  I am terrified of my life right now and have no family to help.    I have had a good 30 years as an MT  and will miss it terribly.  Thanks so much for your prayers.

Viral Spinal Cord InfectionFeb 28, 2010
If I were to have a viral spinal cord infection would I have a fever? My head and back hurt severely. I had a spinal tap in December that was negative but they checked for bacteria.  Worried about this and Guallain-Barre although I think I would be paralyzed by now. All my spinal muscles feel paralyzed.  Could that be part of fibro? I am just miserable. Thanks for any and all help. ...

I have been like this for almost 5 months.    This has ruined my previous cervical laminectomy and now I face quadriplegia. I have been referred to another neuro but need to be in a hospital.  Please pray for justice, healing and a financ ...

Update On Oskar, The Doxie With The ParalysisFeb 28, 2011
So went back to vet, got referred to an orthopedic/neuro specialist, who said that even with surgery ($4200) Oskar only has a 50/50 chance of fully recovering.  He then said that an option was "putting him to sleep" but I told him I would only do that if he seemed to be in pain, which he does not.  Why is euthanasia always an "option" with some vets?  That is what they suggested I do when I first got him because he was deaf.  We wouldn't put a person "down" just because ...
