Prayer for young people

Today I was in the checkout line at Wal-Mart. I stood directly behind a young couple. The girl had too numerous to count piercings with multiple nose rings, etc. That's what caught my attention initially. However, when she turned with her full back exposed to me, I saw the huge print on the shirt she was wearing. It read, "Why have God when you have Satan."

Our country needs prayer, and I am asking thoes of you who agree to join with me in sending up prayers for our young people. They are the future of this country, and it saddens me to see what I saw today.

This is exciting for believers as that is what I live for to be with Christ forever! We are going to see a lot of disheartening things before the Lord's return. It is sad to see so many souls rejecting Christ, however. EVERYONE needs the Lord and needs to be saved.

1 Timothy 3:1-5, 13-16

Why do people so look forward to the end of the world and the death and destruction it will bring? I would think people should be doing more to try to save it.

very very offensive to me. However, even if I don't agree with what they say or do, we live in the USA and I defend their right to voice their opinion. That is what makes us a free nation. I personally wish to ask those who would wear and send such a message, why? Have you tried Christianity? Thank you in advance if you reply.

prayers could help, but they have never helped me in my 48 years. I have had nothing but a horrible life, been through Hell and never got back (still going through hell...daily living is hell for me) and I have to say what kind of a "God" would allow such horrible things. Besides, shouldn't it be US that tells God HE needs to be forgiven?? It is not like WE are Eve or Adam. I mean why go to a place that says you are worthless and a horrible person. What kind of a loving "God" does that? He could stop things, but he does not.

I'm sorry that you are suffering. Sadly, we will all suffer to some degree in this life.

However, the Bible says "For God loved the world (including you and me) so much that he gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life" and "There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends." Yes, we're sinners because sin was brought into the human race, but God, because of His great love for us, has provided a way out of sin.

I have prayed, and sometimes God answered in a way that I wanted. Sometimes, though, He answered in another way. Jesus, when faced with death on the cross said, "Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine." That is one of the hardest things to pray, especially in the face of great suffering.

This life can be extremely hard, but there are still blessings to be enjoyed while we are here. God does not promise us a pain-free life, but He does promise to never leave us. "Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the age." This is truth. Don't believe the liar who wants you to turn your back on God. God loves you more than you can imagine.

I pray that your suffering is eased, that you are richly blessed, and that you can come to enjoy a relationship with Jesus that will never compare to any other.

Have worked at this local company for the past 7 years - I have put in long hours and for the last 5 was hired exclusively to be the only transcriptionist for this busy PT/OT/ST rehab clinic. I had 4-5 therapists I typed for and only one of those ever got their dictation to me daily. The others would "dump" on me a week or more of work and expect me to have it done in a timely fashion. Please pray for me. I have been struggling with insomnia for years, and it is really taking a toll on me. I have tried all different medications for sleep which leave me feeling so ill the next day that I can't function at all. I would like to ask for prayer for my family. Just the highlights: Hubby has had 12 brain/head surgeries in the past 3 1/2 years and is now permanently disabled. I am asking for prayer for my mother, Deanne. She has been suffering from spinal stenosis, ankle replacement problems, and now knee problems. Finally, it took many prayers and patience, but I have found a new job with what seems to be a wonderful company.
