Please, prayers for my sons and I

I know a lot of people are struggling but I wanted to ask for prayers. I've been trying to make ends meet, working two MT jobs making almost nothing, but my sons and I are going to lose the home we rent and I just have no real hope of anything. Again, I know so many of us are having problems, just not sure where to turn. It'll be the first Christmas I can't give them anything, although they're good boys who understand. It's also the first Christmas without my dad and my mother is a state away in assisted living due to Alzheimer, the first Christmas we won't see her, either. I'm sorry...just wanted some prayers and thank you.

hang in there...just something to make ya smile, about 25 years or so ago I was having just the most horrible day. I was walking home from and thinking life just could not get any worse. I was crossing the last street to get home, saw I had a green light so began to cross. Kept thinking of my horrible day and seeing the car out of the corner of my eye, thinking she HAS to see me, I said it again and then came to the realization that she didn't. Thank the Lord that she had stopped and was just beginning to make a right turn on red. I don't believe she was going more than 2 or 3 mph, but that was the last straw for me...I let her have it.

After I got home, I realized maybe she was having a bad day as well and just wasn't thinking about someone in the crosswalk. I had her DL so had a friend look up her number for me. I called her and lo and behold her day seemed just like mine and I truly believe that she now felt worse than I did earlier but that did not make me feel better after all. I truly believe it was God's way of telling us both to knock it off, even the truly bad days will have some good come from them.

So keep your chin up, give your boys a hug. Merry Christmas. I will be thinking of you.

This may get me blasted, but have you and your sons thought about volunteering at a local church or soup kitchen? You'd be surprised how happy some of those people are to come for the food and have other people to chat with. It might be a different Christmas then you are used to, but it might be one of the best too.

I will be praying for you and your family. So sorry to hear of your struggles right now. Will be praying that your needs will be met, that God will sustain you during these trials. If you send your boys' ages, sizes, etc. or some suggestions of what they might want I will be so happy to help. Also, how about something for you? I hope to hear from you. The gifts would no doubt arrive a little late, but I want to do something to help. Keep the faith. People really do care.

He has been in the hospital every month at least a couple of times. He is very ill and I know that he will not be here much longer. Our youngest, 33, is having our first grandson in May or June.
