Well, this morning I heard Donald Trump say that I was not born in America

I learned a lot more about myself and my status. It's not good. I don't think I exist.

He said that a Certificate of Live Birth is worthless. It isn't a birth certificate at all! He said that in many states you can't use it to get a driver's license or even to get married.

I couldn't remember exactly what I had, so I dug out all of the family birth certificates, uh, I mean, things they gave us when we were born. My husband's says, "Standard Certificate of Birth." Mine, from a neighboring state, says, Certificate of Live Birth. I keep it with my copy of my Passport, my social security card, my driver's license, my wedding license, and all those things Donald Trump said I couldn't get because my birth certificate is not a birth certificate.

I guess I need to throw all those worthless things away, since he said my birth certificate is worthless and cannot be used for any purpose. So does that mean I wasn't born at all or does it mean that I was born overseas, because my parents had never been out of the United States. This is a real dilemma. I no longer know who I am or where I came from. I wasn't really married. I can't drive. No social security for me! I'm nonexistent.

to get a DL. They said they had to see my birth certificate. I showed them a COLB. They said that is not legal proof. We need a certified copy of your state long form birth certificate. So I ponied up the $15 and got a state certified long form birth certificate from my home state. The one with all the legal signatures (parents, physician who delivered me, etc.). Without it, they would not give me a driver's license.

You have one too. Everyone born in a hospital in the United States has the original long-form birth certificate that the hospital sends to the state bureau of records. Hospitals do not fill out COLBs.

And I found, on the government website, the "new" rules for a passport, beginning April 1, 2011. If you have a COLB it must have the raised embossed state seal and it must have the registrar's signature. Obama's campaign posted 3 different COLBs...the first 2 had no state seal. A third one did, but NONE of them have the registrar's signature so if he went to get a passport TODAY with that COLB he couldn't. Hmnmmmm.

You may have had a COLB since you were born, but on file in the state you were born is a long form birth certificate. Every child born in any state in a hospital has one.

You know that. Apparently the government tightened up the rules on what will be accepted as legal proof of birth. As I said, none of the COLBs posted for Obama meet the requirements to get a passport as of 4/01/2011.

It doesn't matter at this point. I know there is nothing that can be done about it; however, I feel relatively sure that Obama was NOT born in Hawaii and that is why he cannot produce the long-form hospital original birth certificate, and if he doesn't have one, then his COLB IS worthless. Just in case you wondered, the sig of the registrar on the COLB is attesting that they have that long form on file.

That is what yours is...attesting to the fact that your state has your long form birth certificate on file.

So let's stop beating this dead horse, shall we? You are not going to change my mind. And if Obama cared about ALL of his constituency, he would produce a certified copy of the long form. $15 is all it would take...IF he has one.

Your going around and around does not change the truth either. And if yours does not have the registrar's signature and raised state seal, then you couldn't get one today with your COLB either.

Put on your thinking cap for a minute...the registrar signing is certifying something. What proof does that registrar have that you were born in that state? The original long-form birth certificate that gets sent to the state offices of every state in this union by the hospital where the baby was born. Spin it any way you like...but you have that original long form submitted by the hospital you were born in to your state office.

For whatever reason, either Obama doesn't or he refuses to produce it.

The point still remains, if he was born in a hospital in Hawaii he has the long form birth certificate that was sent from the hospital to the state department of vital statistics, just like every other child born in a hospital in the United States. That is the one he refuses to produce. Either it has something on it he does not want to share, or he doesn't have one.

A COLB is certifying live birth in a state. The registrar is certifying something when he/she signs it. IF and it is a very big IF the one politifact shows that claims to have the signature...that means the registrar is certifying that he/she has the long form from the hospital on file and thereby is certifying he was born in Hawaii. That should mean he has it. So why not produce it? There has to be a reason why he won't and why he spent lots of dollars to in court cases not to have to produce it.

I would think if he cared about all the people like he swore he did when he was running for election...let's see, how did it go...President for all the people, not Democrats, not Republicans, all the people...yeah well. Until you ask for my long form birth certificate, then you can just suck a root.

If Obama was a Republican, you wouldn't buy it either. Let's just be honest about it, shall we?

Some were posted on DailyKos, at least one on Politifact, and other places. There are several versions floating around. That is part of the problem. Anyway...just google it and you can see the different ones that have been posted.

on his campaign website. All of them were released by the Obama campaign, they were the only ones in possession of it. Anyway, people fot them off that website and posted them other places on the net, DailyKos, Politifact, etc. Since he no longer has a campaign website, I couldn't tell you; all I know is they all originated with his campaign and you can see copies of them all over the net. I do know they posted the first one after the hubbub started, and people immediately recognized it had no state seal. Then another one was released by the Obama Campaign that had the state seal "had been obscured" or something like that, and the one they released then had a state seal, but it was flat like a copy of one, not the raised seal like is made with the state seal tool. Then someone said that the state seal was not "raised" and looked fake. Then came the third one, with an obvious raised seal, but no explanation forthcoming why the second one was not raised. Then someone complained it was not signed by the registrar. Someone here on this board said THEY had seen one with the signature, but it was on the BACK of the document. They did not provide a link and I have not seen nor have I been able to locate that one. I miscounted; the one with the signature, if it exists, would have been the 4th one.

What I'm looking for is the actual site - the source where they were released - by the Obama administration

campaign's website. That, of course, was taken down when he was elected. Once he was elected, it didn't matter anymore. Again...you can see them posted on other sites. If you don't like those, then join the rest of us and ask them to post the long-form. Which they have never done, anywhere.

Anyone can claim anything, but I really want to see the source. I want to see the site where all of these are claimed to have been released from. It has to exist. People all over the place are claiming this and that. I want to see the actual authentic release. This is really important to me. I don't want to see what people say is this or that. I want to see the real release site. These others are not authentic. I want the real thing. I want to see it with my own eyes.

so, my next suggestion is, go to the whitehouse.gov site, email them and tell them you would like for them to re-post the COLB released by Obama's campaign because you can't find the original site anymore.

They were released by his CAMPAIGN on his CAMPAIGN website when he was running for President. He has been President for two years now. The site was taken down, but the COLBs (all of them except the one with the signature that I cannot find) still exist on the net.

What you are looking for does not exist any longer.

All i know is I had to write the Bureau of Vital Statistics in my home state to get a certified copy of the long form birth certificate issued by the hospital with all the signatures on it. It is on special paper, with the raised state seal and the signature of the records registrar. They absolutely would not take the COLB.

The second point is: every child born in a United States hospital has a copy of their long form birth certificate on file in their state bureau of vital statistics. That is their original birth certificate. If Obama was born in a Hawaiian hospital he has one too. Which he steadfastedly refuses to produce and has spent considerable dollars not to have to. Frankly, it is amazing to me that anyone no Democrat/liberal/etc. are not concerned about that fact. I am an Independent, and if he was Repub I would be just as concerned. He's obviously hiding something, otherwise he would just release a certified copy of the thing. Nothing else makes ANY sense.
