From a N.Y. Times article on why Romeny chose Mr. Ryan as his running mate:

"Less well known are Mr. Ryan’s close ties to the donors and activists who have channeled Tea Party anger into a $400 million political machine, financed by a network of conservative and libertarian donors that now rivals, and occasionally challenges, the Republican establishment behind Mr. Romney.

Mr. Ryan is one of a very few elected officials who have attended the Kochs’ biannual conferences, where wealthy donors sit in on seminars on runaway government spending and the myths of climate change.

He is on first-name terms with prominent libertarians in the financial world, including hedge fund billionaires like Cliff Asness and Paul Singer, and spent his formative years immersed in the Republican Party’s supply-side wing, working for lawmakers and conservative policy advocates like Jack Kemp.

He has appeared for years at rallies, town hall meetings, and donor briefings for groups like the Club for Growth, which spends millions to defeat Republicans deemed squishy on taxes and spending, and Americans for Prosperity, a grass-roots group focused on economic and budget issues that is now trying to channel Tea Party energy into a permanent electoral force."

Obama's continuous failure and in some cases refusal to put ALL of the public's opinion at rest about his birth, his educational records, and his plans for the country. Yeah, how much taxes Romney paid in the last 10 years (after showing 2 years and a summary of many more that turned up nothing illegal) is a really something we need to keep harping on (maybe because the left has nothing else).

I am more concerned about my neighbor who is a single mom and can't find a job, my neighbor who is a small business owner and whose business has dropped off in the last 2.5 years and the people he has had to let go because of his business dropping off, the rising price of groceries because gas prices are high for the truckers, the price of my electric bill because of Obama's war against coal, a family friend who lost his job hauling coal because of Obama's war against coal, and that is just a small sampling of what I am more concerned about.

So what if Ryan know rich people.

It's more important that he wants what's best for this country. R&R want our country to get back in the black, give the citizens jobs, and give a fair shake to American businesses, and not demonizing or dividing anyone, class or race.

If you can't understand that, then I feel sorry for you. I just can't understand how anyone can be so loyal to a party that they forgive and forget any wrongdoing in that party; i.e., Presidents Clinton, Obama to name two of them. I can give more examples but am on a time limit right now.
