I sympathize with those with cancellation notices, but I imagine most had no idea they'd gotten far enough along to be canceled. :)

The surviving spouse would get the money and that was her husband. He remarried a year after her death (1991), left the state where they were living and if he should not be living now, his survivors would get the money, perhaps even the newer wife.
