I have read is that if your enemies perceive you as weak they will always 100% of the time start a war and try to defeat you.

And if you look around you today and see how AMERICA and the WEST in general are perceived by our enemies, i.e. RADICAL ISLAM, CHINA and RUSSIA it is obvious this world is heading for a war that will make WWI AND WWII seem like a mini skirmish.

World War III is going to be a nightmare.

My late father would be 101 years at the end of this week. In his final years, he still remembered one perilous incident after his unit crossed the Reine River in late March 1945. He had enough brains to fear what men can viciously do to each other.
