on that word, as if we are not all entitled to draw when needed from the programs WE pay into that we set up specifically for US.
Entitled and entitlement are not sneer words. They mean we paid for it and it's ours. But he's sneering anyway.
Note that most safety net programs were created to keep people in temporary trouble from falling into a hole they can never climb out of. Getting sick. Losing a job. Losing all belongings in a natural disaster. Etc. Safety net. That's what they do. A device we developed as a people to keep ourselves from falling so far we can't get ourselves up again.
I've been waiting for Mr. Romney to reveal what's in that bag he's clutching to his chest, and I believe this exposure of his contemptuous view of social programs is a view in.
I'm very offended at his representing me as a moocher because I'm a Dem; but I'd be even angrier if I were a conservative and I and/or relatives, having benefited a program we paid into, now found ourselves characterized as spineless parasites unwilling to take care of ourselves.

My MIL worked from the time she was 12 years old, saved money during the Depression even, has always been an economic conservative, was able to retire on her savings, and now able to stay in her home of 50 years because of the money she paid into Social Security. SHE does not deserve his contempt any more than the many millions of others he insults so callously.

Fifty grand is quite a bit more than I made last year (sadly, it's less than I made back in the mid 90s), and Mittens has the nerve to charge that.... for a plate of food... all while planning to cut programs for people who are having trouble getting by. And that doesn't mean moochers folks. That includes elderly, disabled, students, and people who work full time and don't get paid enough. He's greedy.

Obama's fundraising dinners have cost similar amounts and I believe that some of his programs will ultimately (if not already) cost middle-income earners more in taxes than they're already paying. I also believe that his healthcare plan will end up costing us more.
I know, I know.... The dislikes for this post will be popular, but facts is fact, man, dislike it or not (and certainly, I dislike it).

Barney Fife and Chris Dodo stated nothing was wrong with the financial aspect of the country. They were instrumental in blocking any legislation put up for votes on regulation the above businesses.
