[ In Reply To ..]as those bent on intimidation and suppression have known all along as well. The national poll of likely voters may be in a dead heat, but that electoral college path? Not so much. Still a heavy lift uphill for the Romney camp.
By tomorrow at this time we'll have Mitt's foreign policy command performance to pick apart. I wonder which Mitt will show up? So far, all we've seen him do with foreign policy is to emulate neo-con hawks and project the hubris of US hegemony. Will he now back off and moderate that stance or ratchet up?
I doubt he can nudge that EC tally in his favor based on the inevitable boo-boos he's bound to make tonight on account of his stunning lack of experience in this arena. What he doesn't agree with in terms of Obama's foreign policies, he makes up for with his bellicose pro-war rhetoric, a position that is out of touch with war-weary voters from both sides.
I won't be listening to see how well he can bash the president. My interest is focused squarely on those everlasting invisible specifics, which I in no way expect him to deliver.
