No date, no source, no context, no dice. - Incomplete, inaccurate deceptive statement to boot

No surprise there. What Jackson said back in September 2009 (7 months ago) was that the bailout had not produced any jobs. He did not mention Obama (a presmptious addition by the newspaper in the headline) in his statement and did not specify WHICH bailout he was referring to...Bush 1 (ESA), Bush 2 (TARP) or Obama's ARRA.

He also said that the nation has had a "transfusion" with the Wall Street bailout (ARRA).

Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.

WHile I am certainly no fan of Jessie Jackson and his 2-faced self, even he knows all this money spending is a waste of money. You know who he was talking about; you just can't choke the truth down.

I think that onus is on the original nm drive-by poster - at the head of the thread...

I would be happy to direct you to the multiple articles I consulted before posting, but more to the point, I have provided hard data for your convenience below in "the value of hindsight" post relative to precisely how OBAMA's ASSA legislation has positively impacted the jobs situation. After all, the proof is in the pudding, isn't it? That's a truth you will have to choke down yourself.

PS. We still don't know WHICH bailout Jackson was referring to, do we now, except for the precise reference to the Wall Street bailout that Jackson said "transfused" the economy. That would be the one (ASSA) Obama described as the act that made him hold his nose when he was signing it.

Whatever the case, we can see reality from the hard data from the BLS.

PPS. What I can't stand is to see drive-by shooters providing inaccurate info that goes unchallenged. I have corrected that situation to my satisfaction. Choke down a little crow with those BLS facts, while you're at it.
