Those are just some of his plans in the next 4 years.

[ In Reply To ..]Grow the size of the government: When you invest in projects like rebuilding (or probably at this point building) the infrastructure (aka the Jobs Bill), you put thousands of citizens to work. This has the awesome effect of bringing in more revenue because all these people will be paying income tax. It also promotes the growth of small and big business. This is not my theory, but that of economists across the board. Another perk is that people will have money because they will have jobs and they can buy things and grow the economy!!! And they will feel better too. One more perk is that we won't be as vulnerable to natural and unnatural disasters. We won't have to look at the ice hanging from the power lines and just keep our fingers crossed we won't have to sit in our freezing homes for a week without electricity, just to name one scenario.
Tax the heck out of the 1%: So would you prefer the government taxes the heck out of you? This is the one concept I just don't understand with right-winged middle class accepting and standing for this. So if the 1% is taxed the same as I am (30%), then it will considerably reduce the DEFICIT and pay down the DEBT. But just for the record, I am not complaining about my tax rate, so why should 1% of American not be on board with paying the same as me?
Regarding the pipeline: Congressional Republicans insisted on a deadline to make the decision before any conclusions could be reached regarding safety to Amerian people and the environment. So you know our Pres, he likes to look out for us and our land, so...
Cut our defenses? How many do we need? Jut because there are cuts does not compromise our country.

I personally started noticing the tilt toward the insane asylum in 2004 and then in 2010 when the Tea Party, Koch-bought-and-paid-for puppets (like Scott Walker and Paul Ryan) were thrust upon us. America has become a strange place to me because of the far right lunacy. In the past, Democrats and Republicans showed respect for each other and respected different viewpoints.
