Later when she went to visit a Soviet prison, they put religions items in the jail cells to fake her out and then took them away after her visit. I also recommend Gulag Archipelago (three volumes) by Solzhenitsyn, for anyone who is familiar with him and his contribution to humanity. I'm proud to say he lived here in Vermont. He liked the forests and the climate. ;
