She was "interviewing" a Romney spokesperson and the camera caught O'Brien reading from a liberal blog for her talking points. They quickly turned that camera angle off. :) ;

Don't you think it's ironic that a reporter, who is supposed to be objective, has such an obvious bias? I think so. I think CBS, NBC, and ABC are in the same boat. You can tell by the way they phrase their questions and how they try to elicit a certain response that they're in lock-step. At least, when I watch them I get that impression.

Unlike Fox and Friends, who restrict themselves to endlessly swapping cons TPs across the table without abandon, then interrupt, belittle and talk over anyone who dares to deviate from script, CNN tries to reflect both sides of an argument. It wouldn't surprise me in the least that anchors also read cons blogs sites when interviewing progressive guests, then use them in counterarguments. Wolf Blitzer is one who can almost always be relied upon to present opposing talking points in his interviews. CNN anchors do not offer their own opinions as gospel and, in fact, are vigilent in distinguishing fact from opinion in their presentations. This format simply allows listeners to make up their own minds on issues, which I suppose most cons find scary.

As usual, in the parallel universe, two sides of a story is called out as being "bias." Go figure.

As far as that goes, how many times has Bill O'Reality agreed with a liberal guest? Not that Matthews has ANYTHING to do with this thread, but if you want to talk about bullying commenators, lets include the king himself...Bill O'Reality.

is his professional trademark, much the same way many claim Lamebaugh is a "political satirist" and "entertainer" (LOL). I shutter to think what he'd be like in a face-to-face setting, though he has been known to crush callers, without mercy, who try to get off cons TPs.

Matthews' Hardball is not a universal format for MSNBC. Reverand Al, Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell are not interrupters. None of them are consistently overtly rude to their GOP or cons guests..unlike primetime anchors Hannity and Bill-O, who make Matthews look like a shrinking violet. Let's not EVEN talk about Annie Coulter's recent display of apoplexy at the very IDEA someone went off message, calling for the poor woman's head for simply telling the truth.

Maddow and McDonnell frequently issue open invitations to GOP, cons and TP guests. When they accept, the anchors go out of their way to be polite and repectful, without compromising their ability to deliver to stay on liberal talking points. It CAN be done.

I find it interesting that she was only "caught" once. If it were a habit of hers, the MSM would not stop crowing. As opposed to you-know-who who requires the assistance of a cheat-sheet, a.k.a., teleprompter, even when speaking with elementary school students.
