As the primaries continue, how do those of

still haven't had their primary yet feel about having to wait so long to vote? My state is one of the last, and I feel kind of cheated out of my full choice of candidates. By the time they make it out here, even more will be gone, and it'll pretty much just be a choice between a delegate-heavy frontrunner and the one remainig candidate in that party.
I wish the delegate thing could be done away with, and that the primaries were held in all states nationwide on the SAME DAY. That way we would all get to vote for the candidate we really want to win, and all votes will count. Under the delegate system, I feel like the votes of many of us are being railroaded into an "already-picked" candidate.
If you could change the primaries so that they were all on one day, like the national election is, would you want to do that? I'm starting to feel like they might as well skip the last few states, as however we vote isn't going to count. I hate the American election system.

I want to know why Guam and some of these islands are voting when they are not states.
My candidate is gone already and I never had the chance to vote. How do these people know that the candidate would have won in our state or yours. I mean it is like you say, they are assuring THEIR CANDIDATE NOT THE WE THE PEOPLE CANDIDATE.

[ In Reply To ..]Although I think all of us are set on which party we're going to side with, there's been a lot of difference of opinion within each party about the different candidates available.
I think that all of us, Republican, Democrat, Independent or otherwise, would be a whole lot happier with and more trustful of our American elections if we actually got to vote for our personal choices, rather than the ones our crooked party system chooses for us.
Regardless of who ends up winning the Presidency i November, I think it's time for the country to focus as strongly as possible on changing the system to something fairer and less chaotic.

[ In Reply To ..]I agree with you completely. I have felt for many, many years that my vote never counts, whether it be the primary or the general election for president. My vote does count for local and state elections, but that's it. It is not fair.

I too, live in a state that votes in May, and since this has been a way different type of election, it will make a difference when we vote. [ In Reply To ..]I had just said today that the primaries ought to all be held on ONE DAY. As the primaries trickle out, people in later primaries become overly influenced by results in earlier ones, and as mentioned, don't get to vote for the full slate because people have dropped out merely due to poor performance in a few early states.

[ In Reply To ..]I had not been paying attention to the debates for either party because it seemed like a waste of my time. The fate of 5 candidates that interested me early on has already been determined by other states. It is hard to get excited about the primaries when your state's vote is pretty much irrelevant. I agree with the others about changing to a same-day election.
