Hey! Naked and Afraid is not that kind of show! - Just the title makes is sound Kardashian-esque

The "naked" part is probably to attract viewers, but really it's a survivalist show. The locales are varied, and it really is remarkable how difficult life is without even the most basic modern equipment. Yay for prehistoric people and their ability to survive so that we can walk around in our designer clothes and shoes! (Well, not MTs, but other people.) What I find amusing is the guys especially are all nonchalant about the being naked part, but after a few days the women have usually made some clothing out of palm leaves, etc. And it's not sexual. It's for comfort and protection, obviously. The guys roll their eyes and continue to strut around naked, then a few scenes later here is this great big ex-Navy seal wearing a little palm frond hat and loin cloth made by his female partner. They have eaten their words by the end of the episode. (But not much else, poor things.)
Never fear! - You can still support

LOL!! I am sure the 2 dislikes are Josh supporters - sm

you just have to wonder what kind of person would support a child molester. Had it been anyone else, the guy would have been fried by now

Good Morning All! My Message For Today Is: SmOct 27, 2015
The American people are angry because they know that this recession was not caused by the middle class and working families of this country. It was not caused by the teachers, firefighters and police officers and their unions who are under attack all over the country. It was not caused by construction workers, factory workers, nurses or childcare workers.
This recession was caused by the greed, recklessness, and illegal behavior on Wall Street.

Here Is Some Good News Jan 26, 2013
Mike Huckabee
I told you recently about a poll that found that Congress’ approval rating was lower than that of cockroaches. Well, maybe this will help Congress pull slightly ahead of the bugs. As part of their deal to avoid the fiscal cliff, Congress agreed to freeze their own salaries. But the latest Republican bill to suspend the debt ceiling until May 18th went even further. It would put lawmakers’ paychecks on hold starting on April 15th – tax day. Their pay would g ...

Right wingnuts going the way of the dinosaur perhaps? It's high time . . .
But the larger issue is the declining demographics of the right-wing talk-radio racket. “Look at the millennial generation,” says Colliano. “There’s 80 million of them coming of age. They don’t see color. They don’t see gender. And they’re civic minded: they don’t like bloviating. They don’t like yelling and screaming. So you tell me: how ...

Jon Ossoff handily made it into the runoff against the woman who was fired from the Susan Komen Foundation. Commentary On "the News" - Or What Passes For Such Today.Jul 15, 2017I have no objective way to prove it, but as a news consumer of about 40 years, who has watched the steady deterioration of journalistic standards, it's my opinion that about 95% of what's broadcast on the so-called "news" channels today is anything but news.
Gossip, yes. Speculation, yes. Opinion, yes. Exaggeration, yes. And, unfortunately, not a small element of misinformation, disinformation and unverified, questionable content.
