Need a present for someone going to London

My neighbor who is male and 55-years-old will be traveling to London for three months for business. He got chosen to represent his bank (he is the vice-president of banK) out of 1,000 applicants from all over the US. This will be his first time in England. I would like to get him a going away present because he and is wife are very good friends of mine. Do you have any suggestions? P.S. His wife will be staying in the United States so it would be just a gift for him.

Another one, perhaps a bit more tongue-in-cheek, is to send him off with some decent coffee (if he's a coffee drinker). Every time I've gone to the UK or any place that was a former colony, good coffee was hard to find. They're all wild about the instant Nescafe junk. There are more coffee shops now than there used to be, but if he has a local favorite, or just something he prefers in the morning, send it with him! I brought my own the last time I went somewhere and was so grateful for it.

[ In Reply To ..]Go buy him a converter for electrical outlets! Their outlets are not compatible with ours and will blow out any US appliances. I think Walmart carries them, or order them on the internet. They are not very expensive. Or buy him a tour guide book at maybe half price so he doesn't miss anything!
