Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to Jail

Posted: Jul 7, 2010

Well, this should be a wake-up call and hopefully she will take her probation serious when she gets out.

Lindsay Lohan was just sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating her probation in her DUI case, followed by a 90-day inpatient rehab program.

Judge Marsha Revel sentenced LiLo after an incredulous prosecutor, Danette Meyers, told the judge that Lohan has been thumbing her nose at the court.

The evidence was loud and clear today -- Lindsay violated probation by failing to attend her alcohol ed classes based on the schedule set by the judge. There were lots of excuses, but ultimately they didn't fly.

The judge said there was a pattern of violations since Lindsay was placed on probation in 2007 following her plea bargain in her DUI case.

Lindsay broke down as she addressed the court, telling the judge, "I did the best I could."

Lindsay dissolved into tears when the judge imposed the sentence.

Lohan must surrender on July 20 in Judge Revel's court.

Did you see the pictures of her freshly manicured nails? She had F**k You painted on one of the middle finger of her left hand. You could tell she was taking it all very seriously. Considering she's an actress, I personally didn't view any of it as another role she was playing.

I saw this last night on CNN - tootsie

she blubbered all over the place trying to hand the judge another snow job! It did not work and then she looked so totally surprised when sentenced to 90 days in jail...eyes all wide and crying to her lawyer to help her...yeah, just another act. They were showing pictures of her with her mini skirt up to her crotch and black fishnet stockings with her electronic bracelet on, her in her bikini, etc the whole time she was crying tears of woe to the judge. She makes me sick to my stomach...entitled brat! Too bad she didn't get a year in jail, what with all her acting, lies, and far reaching stories...."My dad had someone steal my passport...wah wah wah...." yeah...okay, sure...tough! good for nuthin drunk!

She'll be in jail a lot less than 90 days, you can get on it. The jail is so overcrowded that there have been a handful of celebrities that have spent just hours or mere days in jail and then get released. I really do hope she gets the help she needs.

They're already saying about 25%, so that's what, about three weeks? - n/m

I so don't care about celebrity woes. It boggles my mind that this makes headlines and "late breaking news" more so than the oil spill that STILL HAS NOT BEEN STOPPED! It's something like day 77 and now Lake Ponchatrain has been closed to fishermen?!?!? That should be headline news. COME ON BP!

All those stupid celebrity law breakers should be throw in jail and judges should stop allowing them to get away with murder (OJ, Blake ring any bells... child molesters like MJ and RJ Kelly). sickening what a good amount of $$ does for ya.

huff - avenged

It is unreal how other's lives fascinate us and it is an absolute crime that if you have enough money you can get away with things. My brother got slapped with a hefty "contempt of court" fine when he gave the bird during traffic court (not to the judge, to some random heckler) and this scum Lindsey "i think i need another drink" Lohan can wear F U on her nails and wave it around, not pay attention to the judge, heckle people in the court and get away with it? Where's the equality in this country? What a shame.

who cares? nm - bbb

Florida Mother Sentenced To 20 YearsJul 16, 2013
...against her allegedly abusive husband. Inside her home. She must have felt quite threatened. "Under the state's 10-20-life law, a conviction for aggravated assault where a firearm has been discharged carries a minimum and maximum sentence of 20 years without regard to any extenuating or mitigating circumstances that may be present, such as those in this case." The judge rejected a motion to grant her immunity under the "Stand your Ground" law. I guess fear of bodily harm is a sli ...
