I hate where I work and have been putting in resumes and applications. I just looked at the body of my last sent resume and realized I had left my current employee signature block which embeds automatically in the letter where I included my resume but DIDN'T include the current position in my resume. Now I don't know what to do!!! I really wanted the job!

[ In Reply To ..]I would suggest you fix the resume and send it to them again, with a note stating that in your enthusiasm to apply with them, you discovered an error on your resume after you had sent it, and this is the corrected one. Perhaps some humility and/or humor will also go a long way in getting them to notice you in a GOOD way!
I pride myself on always making sure my resume is absolutely perfect, so imagine my horror years ago when I noticed a really stupid typo (it instead of is or something like that), and I have no idea how many places I had given that resume to! Probably all the ones I never heard back from, lol!
