In pondering Scriptures like "be content with your wages" and even the Scripture that admonishes slaves to be faithful/respectful to their masters, I have been wondering how to handle life situations. In the context of modern day society, what do you feel is the application of these, should we go to war for better wages, etc. Personally, I make a fair living, though not enough to live an affluent lifestyle. I have enough faith to believe that whatever is out there will take care of me as It has all my life, so I don't sweat it. However, I do see ways in which I am allowing people to be unfair to me in my attempt to take the higher road. Not trying to be selfish, but not wanting to be someone's doormat, either.

For a while now, after I eat and become very full, my left shoulder starts to hurt and sometimes radiates up into my neck. I have had my gallbladder removed, have had angiography that was clean but again, this hurts and is driving me crazy. Has anyone ever experienced this? TIA ...

Has anyone done the Wal-Mart Thanksgiving Thursday sale where they say the item is One-hour guarantee? I have read online that if they don't have the product in the store that they will ship it to you before Christmas, but my question is this. If I am standing in the line at 6 p.m. and the one-hour guarantee ends at 7 then what if it is a slow person checking you out, if you are in the line, do you get the product, or if the line is super long should I just give up the quest to ...
