Questions - Curious gardener Posted: Jun 18th, 2022 - 8:28 am In Reply to: Where there's a will, - there's a way
I haven’t been following this discussion as closely as I should, but why can’t you garden outdoors? It would benefit you to get out in the fresh air, and tomatoes and bell peppers are pretty easy to grow. If you don’t have garden space, you can use containers. I’m curious about the strawberries and what variety you chose; a lot of those plants don’t bear fruit the first year, and aren’t easy under the best conditions. Anything that bears fruit needs day/night temperature fluctuations to ripen properly and thrive, not to mention the air circulation and natural light that you can’t provide indoors without an elaborate setup. I admire your willingness to experiment, but I don’t understand the motivation to use your living space instead of gardening outdoors.
