If someone has access to "public broadcast stations" they also have access to private ones.
If I turn on my radio I get every station in the area. Same with over-the-air TV. When I had cable I got whatever I paid for--including "public" and "private" programming. Maybe you have special types of electronics that only pick up "public" or "private" broadcasts.
Last, whether their funding is 1/1000% or 100% of tax-payers' money, it's too much--especially when it's spent on the type of garbage like the race of a book's author.
