I do NOT get this. I was at - the store the other day & Posted: Mar 23rd, 2020 - 8:30 am
veg/fruit bins were full. Meat department well-stocked. Bread mostly full except for one shelf where one brand was on sale. Plenty of OTC meds & personal-care products. Juice, coffee, cereal, dairy, canned goods...all the shelves were full except one on the bottom being cleaned by an employee. The freezers with dinners, snacks, ice cream were full. Store-wide specials.
I turned the corner to the paper aisle and not one shred of bath tissue, paper toweling or Kleenex. There was a sign limiting each customer to one of each item.
What the fresh heck is this?? Do people really think their backsides are more important than their bellies? Has no one ever gone camping and had to resort to leaves? My Granny used newspaper and catalog pages during the Depression.
Stuff's still being delivered, except if PTBs keep shutting down truck/rest stops I don't know what the truck drivers will do. I don't have TV, so I don't know if the hysteria spread by the establishment media is the reason.
Sorry for the prolix post; I'm seriously baffled here.
