He's worth about 2 million and a good part of that is tied up in real estate. He's made a couple million in the last 2 years on book royalties, and he has his senator's salary. If you want to be wealthy too, write a good book and you'll get royalties. Get a better job, and you'll have a larger salary, Comparatively speaking, his income and assets are just about right for his age, accomplishments, and station in life. He is not unusually wealthy.
