Call it what you want (deep state) but sometimes the government has to keep things close to the vest, and any president with smarts will be in the know and be leading the foreign policy decisions along with the experts. But NO, Trump thinks he's got everything figured out and acts on his own without listening to anyone. I know people thought they were electing a business man who would do things differently, but in reality the government does not run like a real estate business and a deal making tycoon like Trump has no clue how things really work, and he's not been a very effective leader. Some of the very brave republicans in Congress have left because of him or decided not to run again because of him. Most of the rest of the Pubs are truly afraid of him, that he'll ruin their chances at reelection or smear them viciously if they don't go along, because that's what he does to people. That's not the kind of president I want leading our country. Call me silly if you want, but that's how I feel.
