I have to agree with the poster's advice.

God will bless you while you're taking the necessary steps to get your daughter and yourself into a better living situation. It may seem counterintuitive to quit your job, but in this case you will qualify for more state aid or government assistance and then be in a more stable position to take the next steps. At this point, you'll have more breathing room also and more time to explore other resources available for landing a better job or training for another career. I'm considering that myself. MT just isn't a sure bet anymore...It may be easy to land another MT job, but it may not be dependable for meeting your needs and the time spent in finding that out will only set you back. If you can, do your job research online, at the local library if they have computers, a job center in town. Take a look at jobs you've never ever considered before. You can also meet with social services while your daughter is in school and still be there for her when she gets home.

The possibilities do exist for getting back your life and providing a safe home for your daughter and yourself. There's nothing wrong with getting government aid and assistance - thank God it's there when we need it...Who knows, that may very well be the path God intends for you to take again so that you'll be able to find exactly what you need. Keep us posted!
