Act 1976 allows the president the power, (per Congress, not the media).

Listen to what the border patrol and law and ICE say about the southern border. Look at all the drugs coming over. There have been 235,000 arrests of illegal aliens by ICE just in the last year, including 4000 arrests for homicide, 30,000 arrests for sex crimes, and over 100,000 arrests for assault and human trafficking.

How can anybody look at those numbers and say this isn’t a crisis?

More than 90% of the drugs coming into the country are coming across the southern border.
