and now that he has been made aware, he threatens the "national emergency." May or may not work but we will see. If it doesn't, you will soon find out what a shutdown actually means and if it goes on for too long, Republican politicians will eventually lose their jobs, followed quickly by Democrats, and you will have people walking off the job for essential services. Essential personnel or not, you cannot make someone work who does not get paid. Long lines for UE, food stamps, Medicaid, etc. IF they are operating.
