I am sure this will fall on deaf ears, but as stated above, the border patrol are actually doing their jobs quite well. They could probably use additional resources, but not a wall. The numbers of illegals COMING THROUGH THAT BORDER has significantly decreased in the last more than a decade. The NUMBER ONE reason illegals are here is due to them overstaying their visas. They came by plane or ship, etc. They have never even seen the southern border. The NUMBER ONE way drugs are entering are country are not at the southern border, they come by International Cargo Shipping. Since $5 billion is not going to complete the wall, our resources would be better directed where more serious problems lie.
