Trump has not even given documentation of how he defines "border security," much less a "wall - fence - concrete structure - steel beams." Nor has he provided proven documentation on how Mexico is going to pay for this "structure." All of that "Mexico is paying for it." And now Republicans are angry that the Dems don't want to give him the money for it? Really? Did you or most Republicans really believe that Mexico was going to pay for a wall? As far as "thousands" of Americans being killed by illegal immigrants, since when? Thousands? There is no credible documentation that Trump's quoted number of illegals entering this country is correct either, BY HIS OWN PEOPLE, and based on current estimates of the true figure, it would take some kind of superhuman force for them to commit that many murders. Furthermore, it will not even closely equate the number of Americans killing Americans.
I have tried to be on Trump's side regarding this. He just has not been very forthcoming or honest about any of it. So blame Dems all you want, Trump started this conflict himself and at this point Dems should not have to prove anything, he should. He ran his campaign on more than one false promise, with the Republican Congress knowing all along his statements were false. The burden of proof is on him.
