splint in place. I have been told that it will probably heal, though not perfectly, but there may be an issue with some degree of lameness with that leg.
We had applied for a grant through a charitable organization for veterinary care, but even if we were approved, a person must pay for the surgery up front and then be reimbursed no more than $1000. The surgery is $6000-$6300.
God is faithful, though, and I know we'll get through this. We are praying that his leg will heal and that there will not be any dysfunction with the leg once healed.
