Donald Trump is running for President

Posted: Jun 16, 2015

He must be a secret Democrat as all his running does is emphasize the bad in the Republican party.

;

Say what you will, but MSNBC is the only - one of the big 3 cable

[ In Reply To ..]
NOT covering the driveling Trump who is still droning on about running for President. He must be making his big show in the announcement because he knows they will never willingly cover him again.

NBC is mad because he wouldn't renew his show. - They're a bunch of sniveling sissies.

[ In Reply To ..]
It has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with getting their hands slapped by The Donald himself.

And for those who don't like The Donald, too bad you can't learn a thing or two from his success story. But then again, the libs don't like to hear about success. They're into socialism and communism.

Thanks for bringing TRUTH to the board... - ;)

I was just thankful his 45 minutes of ranting - wasn't on --NBC sensible

[ In Reply To ..]
They went to analyze the "speech" on CNN and were rolling on the floor. As a presidential candidate, he's a joke.

And tomorrow when conservatives are whining about how rich Hillary is - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
we'll be sure to remind you what a "success story" she is. This speaking out of both sides of the mouth from conservatives is entertaining yet hypocritical.

Trump is such a self-made success (in his own mind). I guess he's going to begin running around the country now like a chicken with his head cut off and foaming at the mouth like a rabid dog speaking about the evils of government and how he is a self-made billionaire when nothing could be further from the truth.

Trump is a living, walking, talking example of corporate welfare at its finest. He has made a fortune at the expense of taxpayers through the exploitation of corporate welfare. Trump was the first developer in New York to receive a public subsidy for a commercial project using programs that were designed to improve slum neighborhoods. He has boasted that his success at manipulating city and state governments for his personal gain is an argument for his presidential candidacy. Another one of those "I built it" jerks who made a fortune through billions of dollars in corporate welfare yet criticizes the very government programs that he has exploited while claiming to be a self-made entrepreneur. (see link)

They whine about moochers while taking all the corporate welfare and taxpayers' money they can get their grubby little hands on. The conservative hypocrisy and doublespeak is sickening. Do as we say, not as we do.
Excellent points :) - Julia Sugarbaker
[ In Reply To ..]
No worries, he's tried before, he won't win the nomination.

Because even if people were willing to look past his crook/mafia connections, most of us agree that other than budget balancing, the President should NOT act like a CEO - CEO's do NOT know how to listen to we the people.

In fact, wasn't that our complaint with the last 2 presidents - executive overreach?

Trump most assuredly would and has "over-reached" even in his own businesses.
Hillary is only rich because of other people's money. - (A typical Commie)

[ In Reply To ..]
I'm sure I'll be sorry I even asked, but seriously, I'm not sure what this even means.

I'm also not sure who, from either party, would be happy to claim Trump and his shady mafioso connections as a serious contender to best represent the US. If they don't like Christie for those reasons, shouldn't they really back away from Trump then?

If the Republican party wants to claim him anyway, fine, but then they might want to rethink that whole "we're conservative morals and values party" thing if they back Trump.

But I guess it could work. I mean, it would be much like all the popes before Pope Francis just looking the other way on organized crime because of the donated money, but it would still appear just as hypocritical to everyone else.

But the Republican party has kind of done that in recent years anyway, with the Bush dynasty, but doing it with Trump makes the hypocrisy even more obvious and nearly inarguable.
More word salad...no thanks - I already had lunch

The choice to personally attack rather than discuss Trump is duly noted - Julia Sugarbaker
[ In Reply To ..]
That's fine if personal attack at me is preferred to discussing Trump or even other politicisn.

However, it was a perfect opportunity to actually discuss the candidate the OP actually mentioned that was missed.

Consider how that choice makes the conservatives below look, who are posting below about wanting discussion vs. name-calling. Some of them are sincere - ever consider they end up looking bad by default?

PS - As I said below, this really is the first time I've commented in 3 weeks since the day I said I'd be away a bit, and I really have been away - NOT because I was banned - a fact which could be verified by the moderator.

I used to post with actual discussion and different thoughts and sides to an issue and some were just not responded to at all (they got a lot of likes, but no comments?), others were torn up for tangents of the real points (I guess that is what people call deflection), anyway, most cannot handle real writing.

You tell me. I don't think Josh Duggar and Dennis Hastert are running. - sm

If I were you, I wouldn't be whining so much about perverts when the majority of them share your political persuasion. LOL.
"If I were you" I wouldn't be whining about others - when you have Bernie the Pevert and

Weiner

to name a few, to name a very few. But you keep your head in the sand. Would not surprising if you encouraged your children to hang with those of sexual deviant persuasion, thinking you're proving a point, IMO.
Thank God I'm not you....Not matter what you're told - you don't listen anyway

[ In Reply To ..]
They are the living embodiment of the deadly sins. LOL.

Chris Crisco is "gluttony," a mass of billowy fat in the form of a bully throwing his weight in people's faces and calling everyone else stupid while he eats himself into a sugar coma.

Huckster is "greed," "sloth," and "gluttony" all rolled into one, while he sits on his high horse in moral judgment of everyone else, the epitome of hypocrisy, a slovenly fat Southern preacher who selectively chooses verses of the Bible to preach and lecture about while not exactly practicing what the Book preaches himself.

Gag but they are massive conservative hypocrites. They are the living breathing embodiment of the conservative mentality. Do as we say, not as we do.

at least Trump has the guts to make changes, especially in the job market and real estate. He isn't worth 9 billion for nothing! As for the republican party, he will be a breath of fresh air compared to who they have put up in the past several years. The democrats have dominated the votes no matter how inept their nominee is because the republicans have no runners with half a brain who can beat the dems. We need to vote for somebody who will get things done, and whether you like Trump's hair or not, he is brilliant in business. Something better happen or we will all go down the tubes soon!

P.S. For all you in the MT business, as I am, Trump HATES offshoring and taking US business from US workers. For that reason alone, you should all vote for him if you want to keep your jobs.

I know it is really difficult for Republicans to realize this, but you don't get to play both sides of the line and get away with it, at least in this much of the limelight. By not declaring his candidacy, Bush is skating a fine legal line. All of those things just mentioned would be violations of campaign finance laws, because an official candidate is not allowed to coordinate with their Super PAC or accept any individual donation over $2,700 per election. So by not “officially ...
