I saw an article about the fact that it is surmised that the President does not read or write very well. As unbelievable as this seems, they may be onto something. He's even admitted that he's not a reader and doesn't like to read anything that is too long. Maybe he needs his personal assistant to read all necessary information to him or else he's not going to be as effective a president as he could be. He's got to stay informed about everything. Voraciously watching and listening to news broadcasts is not the way to educate himself. Anyway, he believes all the news is fake anyway. But, he should be able to believe reports that come from his White House staff. If someone has to read it to him, so be it. How else is he going to keep up?
