War on drugs? I don’t think so

The DEA has filed a notice of intent to schedule and ban kratom by September 30th, 2016. For those of you who do not know what kratom is please visit r/kratom subreddit or do a quick youtube search and watch some of the videos people are putting up about it right now. I will include some links below.

I believe this is a war on natural and herbal remedies and this is going to set a dangerous precedence. My husband has relied on kratom for more than five years for his chronic back pain due to four spine surgeries and fusion of L5-S1. His last surgery was an electronic stimulator to combat the debilitating nerve pain.

This leaf has enabled him to stop taking both Vicodin and gabapentin. He is still a highly productive member of society.

There are countless people with almost the same story as him from all walks of life that come September 30 are going to be considered felons simply for possessing a leaf that has eased their chronic suffering.

If you care about personal freedom and natural healing at all I implore you to read about this and educate yourself. Decide if it is worth it to take action. It is my believe that the DEA is infringing on our rights and will cause more harm than good. It is an outright lie to say kratom has no medicinal value. Anybody can do a google search and find that is not true.

Incidentially (I am not a conspiracy theorist), there are two new drugs in development right now that claim they will act the same medicinally as kratom. One is PZM21.

that the DEA can be so DUMB. They classify natural plants as drugs. People better wake up to what is happening here. The government wants us all on prescription drugs so they can control us. I say NO WAY!! I guess if your husband needs it and they make it illegal then just do like all the pot smokers and still do it anyway. Pot shouldn't be illegal and neither should kratom if it helps people. It is so funny, but not really, how they say something that is natural is harmful, but don't want to look at how dangerous prescription drugs are. There are mind-altering, addicting prescription drugs, but do the DEA and government care about that...NOPE cuz they are making money off of those and to try and say the new drugs they are developing will act the same...how the heck do they know...they are just saying that so they can take something else away from the American people.

Need some advice from anyone taking or have taken medicine for high cholesterol.
