The Murrieta Rebellion. The Law: Residents of

Reagan Country rose up last week to halt busloads of illegal immigrants being dumped into their neighorhoods, showing why they may have started a grassfire national movement.
To get into the town hall meeting at California's Murietta Mesa High School, you had to work your way through 200 angry protesters. Many of them were in green and white Mexican soccer jerseys and bandanas and waved Mexican flags, at least one with "Viva Mexico" stamped on it.
"Ci-ti-zen-ship! Ci-ti-zen-ship!" shouted one young woman, pumping her flag along as the crowd's rage sizzled. She apparently saw nothing inconsistent about brandishing the flag of the country she didn't want to be sent back to.
Other demonstrators from Riverside, Orange and Los Angeles counties waved signs and shouted "Murr-i-hate-a," while still others openly proclaimed their status, belying the notion that illegals live in the shadows.
Inside, however, it was a different picture.

I guess the question becomes, what are - really prepared to do

about this issue seriously. It is coming to the interior of the US.
Spread the word is one way. I often turn on TV news - just to see what IT NOT being

I like the comment by this woman...
It's about respect," added Robin, an African-American mother of two teenagers and a Murrieta homeowner for eight years. "Citizenship is a privilege, not an entitlement. They are making it an entitlement."
There is a map showing where relocation is being - considered. I'm having a hard time

They are not sending them back. Obama is using - funds intended to secure our

border to temporarily warehouse them, and buying plane and bus tickets to send them to communities and neighborhoods near you. Monthly payments will be made to people to take them in.
California and Texas are uniting to defend the - border, maybe Arizona, and

while I support this, I think this is exactly what the government wants - a showdown.
I agree and also agree that Texas needs to remain a red state. - sm

I believe it was "Texan" who posted about BO wanting Texas to turn blue. It was not something I had thought of previously, but I now realize the importance of it remaining red. We need to defend the homeland (and Texas) if the president has lost his desire to do so.
I hear our demented governor in WY said - sm

the State would be willing to take ALL the illegal refugees.
I will NOT be voting for him in the future.
Legal immigrants are required to have medical - screening to make sure

they don't bring any contagious diseases into the United States. Illegal aliens are not screened and many are carrying third world diseases. Many of these diseases are highly contagious and will infect citizens that come in contact with an infected illegal alien. This has already happened in restaurants, schools, and police forces.
What a slap in the face that this coincides with - July 4, while everyone is

distracted with celebrating.
This is true. It's not just from Mexico any more. - sm

The newest flock is coming from Central America, and they DO have dangerous diseases in that part of the world.
Now there is a move on to boycott Murrieta. - sm

There is some very derogatory information being posted on some websites about boycotting Murrieta. I just don't understand anymore.
I'm sure we're going to be hearing about more cities who follow Murrieta's lead. Are those cities going to be boycotted as well? Should we just boycott the USA and move to Mexico and Central America?
Let them boycott, this is coming to a city near them - eventually, either way
[ In Reply To ..]
it's going to affect them.
Sometimes you have stand up for principles no matter - how popular or unpopular,

and it's hard to do.
How does one "boycott" Murietta? It's not a tourist - destination, just a SoCal bedroom community.

with the protesters who are against illegal immigration, and I believe their points are very salient.
We can't afford to take care of our own. We certainly can't afford to take care of the criminals who cross our borders illegally.
This situation reminds of the Mariel boatlift - back in the 70s. no msg
