There were no "Judeo-Christian foundations" until the 1940s:

John Adams' prayer was for "honest and wise men" to inhabit the White House. It said nothing about "Judeo-Christian foundations" or religion at all for that matter. Just for wise and honest men. By associating John Adams with "Judeo-Christian foundation" is an absolute lack of historical knowledge and really insulting to John Adams. Or maybe writer was trying to mislead the readers who have no historical knowledge.

The following paragraph from your article, in the context of "Judeo-Christian" by definition, is the right wing mantra of restoring America to circa 1940 to 1960:

"We hope and pray that one day soon men and women of courage will return our nation to its former Judeo-Christian foundations and will restore our honor, our integrity, and our Liberty."

I don't follow a Judeo-Christian religion. - mgm

What does Judeo-Christianity have to do with John Adams? The term didn't even come into existence until 1829 and Adams died in 1826.

I totally understand the intention of the author, especially the last paragraph, the burning desire to return to Dixie, but I don't get how this writer is credible when she outright misrepresents history?

I don't know, when I see posts referring to the president as the "King of Kenya" or to the First Lady as "Mooch," it's hard not to see the hate. I've never seen anyone post anything to suggest that not drooling over "the O" or not praising him up and down makes one a hater.
