OK, I have looked and looked

I have been trying to fiind Romney's tax plan and I cannot find anything.  Can anyone direct me?

According to Romney....sm - JTBB

you'll just have to wait and see. Kinda like a birthday present...LOL. I'm sure we'll all be surprised.

Funny thing is that if you actually do find one, I can guarantee it won't be the same as everything he's said about it. For example, the first version called for a 20% cut across the board, but in the debate he denied that plan, so who knows?

A point about Big Bird (mostly for all those below who seem to be having a cow about it). Yeah, its funny that Romney's going after Big Bird, but the real problem is that when he talks about balancing the budget and reducing the deficit, he picks something as miniscule as the money that goes to PBS as an example of the road to recovery. Its called...HE HAS NO PLAN!

A surprise? I doubt it'll be a surprise - Fanatical Hypocrite

I won't be particularly surprised when the rich get more breaks, and the poor get a slap to the face and a lecture.

Also, he's got a very clear plan: He's going to cut taxes for the rich. And everyone. And no one because there will be no more deductions, except your favorites. He'll have to make cuts to the budget too. Which will be the military, followed by a defense spending increase. Medicare is getting more funding and replaced with a voucher system. Immigrants can stay where they are while they self-deport themselves. Obamacare is gone and Romneycare is in. Big Bird is cooked, though he's such a big Sesame Street fan. You can still get an abortion, but it's illegal now. On a state by state basis. And federally. But he won't touch Roe v. Wade. He knows that Ryan is the only person smart enough to solve the country's problems, which is why he won't follow any plan he's ever endorsed. He's going to cut all the regulations. None of the ones you can think of, just the bad ones that he doesn't have the time to name. Oh, and he's getting rid of tax loopholes. What about Cayman Island/Swiss bank tax shelters? [crickets]

I don't see why people have such a hard time understanding his plan. The easiest way to find out what he believes right now is to get in a room with him. Then his beliefs will be yours. He's a man of the people. So much so he doesn't even have an individual identity or consciousness. He's a ideology sponge.

No wonder he had to spend so much time training for the debate. His handlers were probably afraid he might absorb Obama's beliefs and desires and become a commie.

This is why I prefer Obama. His administration is totally aimless. It's like Russian roulette, a lot of time you get lucky. With Romney, you might not know what's in each chamber, but they're all loaded with something.

Wow, it is all so clear now. - lightbulb moment

Romney is just like the perfect imaginary friend. He will be whatever you want him to be. Thank you for clarifying.

Pelosi saying we'll have to pass Obamacare to see what's in it.

Romney outlined his vision for America and some of the steps he would take to reach that. He did not say it specifically enough for the libs, who are looking for something to criticize but who had no trouble voting for Hope and Change four years ago without requiring Obama to give specifics. I.e., what hope? what change? how will you do that?

I am quite sure you are an intelligent person...sm - Liberty

I think you must have just overlooked the many sources for Romney's tax plan.  I found many immediately.  But, I never did find a source for Obama's budget...not that I really care anymore...oh, wait, maybe it is in that empty chair over there...

Thank you.

Yeah, I found it too. Obama had NO substance and lost - the debate badly.. HE never had a plan except

I've had people on here tell me.... - (see message)

[ In Reply To ..]
....that Romney's tax plan is clearly available; it can be found anywhere; do your research. I've tried, also, and can't find any details. If you're talking about the bullet-point type list of items that's shown on his website, that's a list of general ideas and tells us very, very little. He. Has. Given. No. Real. Details.

I don't understand why Romney backers are so hesitant to post a link to his firm, detailed plan. You're more than happy to post links to all sort of stuff that is negative toward the president....and frankly, I find a lot of it to be items that have been found on a blog or an opinion piece or in a forwarded e-mail! Those don't count as proof of anything, to me.

Nobody has a "firm detailed plan". However, Romney - gave enough details to tell me

He has a ton more business experience and common sense than BO. Our country is in a black hole, and we need somebody with some sense to turn this around. I voted for Obama, and I am admitting it was a HUGE mistake. He has no clue how to fix anything!

Have you REALLY checked out his website? - backwards typist

Some on here say he has no plans or like you, stated there's only a bullet point list. I had no trouble finding info on the following on his official webiste:

Afghanistan & Pakistan, China & East, Asia, Iran, Israel, Latin America, Middle East, National Defense, Puerto Rico, Russia, Courts & The Constitution,
Education, Energy, Gun Rights, Healthcare, Housing, Human Capital,
Immigration. Labor, Medicare, Regulation, Social Security, Spending, Tax, Trade, Values,Veterans

You point and click on each one of the issues to find more detailed info.

I found it - message for all that claim they cannot find it - Found many links in about 1.5 seconds

First, I am not directing this message at you, but I come on here and read over and over and over people cannot find his plan, when what it is is they don't want to even look at his plan.

So, here is what I found. Took me maybe 2 seconds to type it and hit the button.

I use Bing. I don't like Google because Google is liberal oriented and I never get good results. So...in Bing I typed in - What is Romney's tax plan and this is what I got (some of the links below discuss his plan. All I'm sayin is it's really easy to find his tax plan. There are a ton more links, some I'm sure give more detail. Not only that but if you type in what is Romney's economic plan there are more links.

C'mon gals, I know you guys have research skills, finding out what Romney's tax plan is no different than finding the name of a medical instrument or procedure or whatever. The only think I can think of is you prefer not to find it and just keep repeating the liberal mantra that he doesn't have a plan (when he actually does).

with the 20% cut. Ummmm....that's the one he said wasn't his tax plan in the debate. Care to try again?

I apologize for the delay in returning to this thread...sm - Liberty

I see someone has replied with links to the various websites for Romney's tax plan.  Thank you to the poster.   I don't recall which website I found the tax plan details, but I will attempt to find it again and post the link if it is different than the other links.  Everyone here is intelligent and you all have superior research skills - even if we disagree politically.

Thank you.

I am the biggest liberal you'll find, but I'm happy to see Chrstie has taken steps to improve his health. Speculation is he's doing it for political reasons.  As a Democrat, Christie is one of the few Republicans I respect.  He seems to show a genuine interest in the people he serves.  Even though I don't agree with his politics, he didn't allow political consequences to come in the way of showiing Obama respect, and he takes a more common sense approach r ...
