Now 20 countries rioting/protesting against

Posted: Sep 14, 2012

Obama needs to put on his big boy pants on.  What Obama never says is that video has been posted on that internet for over a month, and is nothing more than an excuse.

Obama has been in bed with Soros a long time, and Soros has repeatedly stated he wanted to topple the USA (as does Obama) and Obama and Soros share the same communist beliefs.  Soros, in a live interview, said toppling, crippling, economically destroying, seeing the general public starved and murdered, so Soros could achieve the government's (any governemt) destruction he "found quite fun".   Soros has made it quite clear USA was his next target.

Obama's campaign, as is the liberal press, is funded by Soros.

Just to show you what a great guy Soros, during WWII he actually pried the gold out of dead Jews' mouths, some being his nieghbors and friends, because Soros said "someone" was going to do; so, it might as well be him.  Real compassionate guy and a HUGE supporter of Obama (and Clintons).

That's the kind of guy Obama called a "friend" and Hillary called a "visionary" .

The Democratic party must be oh so proud.

;

It is ridiculous to pretend that video is not playing a - HUGE part in instigating this situation

and that wingnut hate speech was not fundamental in laying the groundwork for misunderstandings perpetrated via the internet that incite violence. A prime example of this is stupidity is the situation Hillary Clinton faced last July when protesters blamed her for throwing the Egyptian elections in favor of the Muslim Brotherhood....a misperception that arises DIRECTLY from that ignorant, batcrazy anti-Muslim conspiracy theory floated by Michelle Bachmann, Louie Gohmert and Lynn Westmoreland, when they launched their witch hunt against Huma Abedin. Wingers cheered and declared victory all over the internet when those protests happened. IMO, this is NOT, NOT, NOT the act of a patriot and it is decidedly UNAMERICAN. These same folks and ideas were prominently featured at the Value Voters Summit where Ryan spoke today, SIMULTANEOUSLY with the riots and protests going on in Moslem countries.

Drop the pretense. The evidence is clearly not favorable to anti-Muslim wingers and their hate-mongering. The very last credible source as to what's behind the protests would be cons media sites. If you want to know exactly what's fueling it, try reading the comments sections on Al-Jazeera English or the end comments of YouTube videos of the violence that are now proliferating that site after the video trailer's release.

"It is ridiculous" not recognize the HUGE spin Obama and HC - are putting out there to cover their behinds

[ In Reply To ..]
Drop the pretense. Their spin and yours nothing more than smoke. People seeing right through it, and recognize Obama for the incompetent, apologizing buffoon he is (oh...yeah, and throw Hillary in there, too. She's nothing more than Obama in a skirt). You want to genuflect to Obama, go right ahead. The rest of us see Obama and his minions for what they are.

What people see through is how this kind of stupidity - is helping AQ and other extremist groups

[ In Reply To ..]
in their recruiting efforts to reverse the democratization of Arab Spring countries. THAT is what you are witnessing right in front of your face in these protests. Keep up the good work and pat yourselves on the back as these partisan insanities rise to the level of armchair terrorism by default ignorance. It plays right into the hands of OBL's disciples.
Nothing here but your "stupid" opinion - and insults to other posters
[ In Reply To ..]
"Keep up the good work". Pretty sure HC and Obama would be proud of your condescending tone since they use it so often and your ability to completely obure the facts with only what YOU think is important and your snarky opinion and attacks on others. Right out of the Alinsky play book of tricks you all love so much.

Off to scrub my toilet - far more interesting than your factless opinion pieces.**YAWN**
You have unwittingly lifted one of my own past - brush-offs from months ago
[ In Reply To ..]
The scrub my toilet phrase loses its effectiveness with overuse by those who find creative thinking too challenging. Here's an idiom one you can try on for size....imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

BTW, I make no apologies whatsoever for my condescending tone. Putting up with routine bankrupt rhetoric is second nature to me, but I do tend to get riled up over the kind if ignorance described in the OPs....especially once it turns deadly and rains terror down upon us all.
guess you had better copywrite your "sayings" then.... - anon

The meaning of a simple observation has once again - been distorted beyond recognition

and turned into a trite driveby. Speech is alleged to be free. What we encounter here is certainly not subject to "intellectual" property rights laws.

It is really time for Americans to band together not work against each other and believe all this propaganda being spewed out.

The video was just recently translated - bootstraps

which sparked the Egyptian protests. Whether or not anyone here wants to believe that is neither here nor there, but it is the consensus that the protests and violence was sparked by the just recently translated movie trailer.

Does it make it right? No, but the producers of movie knew exactly what they were doing. And, although not yet proven, they are right-wing American extremists.

Hillary Clinton's motorcade was attacked and pelted by tomatoes in Egypt a while back because citizens there somehow got the idea she influenced the elections and supported the Muslim Brotherhood.

They read it on a right-wing publication, authors being Mr. Gaffney and Mr. Boykin and took it as mainstream American. But of course, the story was a falsehood.

Thus stuff is dangerous and inciteful. Pushing buttons that have no possible positive consequence. Cowards that hide behind freedom of speech.

Paul Ryan spoke at the Values Voters Summit Saturday. The lineup also included Gaffney and Boykin.

It's not just right-wing extremism - thought

[ In Reply To ..]
but left-wing extremism as well that's just as destructive.

Left wing extremism is not the force behind - anti-Muslim sentiment.

This is just another cowardly cop-out that flies in the face of the much ballyhooed bootstrap personal responsibility mantra cons promote but run from when it comes their turn to step up.

The trash talk has now become enshrined in - the GOP plaatform

in the form of a plank that embeds an imaginary Sharia law threat, stokes anti-Moslem sentiment and elevates it to the level of the national agenda of a major US political party. It isn't enough that they turn their hatred on a major religion that represents more than 1.6 billion people worldwide. They have taken to aiming all that same kind negative energy toward our president and all their political opponents whom they are determined to subject to an ill-informed, dumbed down, arcane concept of what is and is not acceptable American citizenship.

I was born in 1948. In all my life, I have never seen, much less confronted, circumstances quite like this. We ran our civil rights issues through the democratic process and came out on the other side of that effort a better, more equal and inclusive society. I have to wonder if that would have even been possible in modern times, given the advances in technology that has enabled such dark forces to foment the kind of suppression and hatred to the degree we now experience.

As such, the challenges we face are much more daunting. For me, the last few days have been a long overdue wake-up call that defines this decline in no uncertain terms. I am at a loss to see the big picture or to know what the long-term solution will be, mostly because I am so caught up in the consequences of the partisan divide that take the form of the outsourcing and subsequent degradation of my chosen profession, protracted unemployment, failing health, advancing age and its attendant workforce discrimination that virtually stymies any confidence in retraining/re-entry transition, the inability to afford retirement, wiped out savings, and an imminent threat to programs that otherwise may hold the potential to guide me through the pathway out.

The anger and resentment I see on the streets outside US embassies is not all that different from what I spend inordinate amounts of time and energy trying to repress every waking hour of every single day. The only thing I know for sure is that preventing the clueless hate purveyors from seizing power is a kick-the-can-down-the-road imperative that, at the very least, will buy more time before more workable, positive, productive and mutually beneficial solutions can be found.

What we need to do... - Nonpartisan

[ In Reply To ..]
is quit sending money and aid to those countries and concentrate on helping the hungry/needy here. It's tough I know, but it's better than adding to the national debt giving money we don't have to countries that hate us.

An invitation to a terrorist takeover - whose first mission

will be to implant extremist theocracies across the entire region, then take aim at Israel and the US. No thanks.

Hmm.. - Not so fast SM

It appears that a drone strike against one of the leaders of Al Qaeda, Al Libi?is what incited the violence in Libya, according to MSNBC. Where do you think they got this information? The unmanned drones are doing an excellent job killing the extremists, just no blustering and testosterone wagging involved.

That is not what incited the violence in the - other places, which

[ In Reply To ..]
was clearly elucidated in those same reports you cite. Rachel Maddow called Libya a "different kettle of fish," and clarified the statement with observation of how the Libyan outbreak differed in terms of organization and spontaneity.

Affront to Islam is the catalyst that brought the Umma out in Moslem countries. Most certainly that is not the only reason such anger was percolating beneath the surface, but from where I sit, the catalyst cannot and must not be minimized or ignored. I also believe that strikes against AQ leaders in Libya may have also been a catalyst, but impatience over such political and economic elements as high expectations post Arab Spring liberations, poverty, displacement, hopelessness and despair, governments in transition, weak or lax security, coupled with the populations' emergence from decade after decade of repression that the US played major roles in prolonging are the longer-term issues that our diplomatic efforts must confront. These are all conditions that terrorist organizations prey upon and know how to exploit to their advantage. Anti-Moslem sentiment is their most powerful recruitment weapon.

With all this on the plate, IMO it is not too much to ask for the winger "patriots" to honestly address the part that hate speech plays in the equation, not to mention the divisive image that partisan politics superimposes on our administration's handling of the crisis. After all, it is up to right wingers to own it, denounce it and move their party beyond it, toward a more realistic approach to these other issues that lay at the epicenter of the war on terror. BTW, the the traditional projection of solidarity and unity behind US leadership (whether you agree with it or not) is not a "favor" one party does for the other. It is simply meant to be a daunting show of strength, intended to disarm bellicosity and aggression, back bullies into a corner, weaken their stance, and put them on the defensive.

OP, you feel Obama is part of a vast Jewish conspiracy - to bring down the U.S. and install communism? Plea

[ In Reply To ..]
explain how this ties into the riots? Are rioting Muslims going to invade Washington and install a Jewish-run communist state?

May I ask which political candidate you endorse, if any?

Ferguson Protesters Now Protesting Over Not Getting PaidMay 26, 2015
At least some of the protesters who looted, rioted, burned buildings and overturned police cars in Ferguson, Missouri, last year were promised payment of up to $5,000 per month to join the protests. However, when the Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment (MORE), the successor group to the now-bankrupt St. Louis branch of ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now), stiffed the protesters, they launched a sit-in protest at the headquarters of MORE and created a Tw ...

Compare U.S. Unemployment To These CountriesJul 10, 2010
Canada's economy continues to outshine other advanced countries as the unemployment rate unexpectedly dipped below 8 percent for the first time in a year and half. Statistics Canada said Friday the country added a higher-than-expected 93,000 jobs in June and said the unemployment rate dropped to 7.9 percent. Economists had expected a more modest 15,000 to 20,000 job increase and that the rate would remain at 8.1 percent. It's the second biggest gain ever recorded by the agency in ...

European Countries Proposes A "social Parasite" TaxMar 29, 2017
has hit upon a novel idea to reduce poverty: Fine people for being poor. Belarus, which lies between Russia and Poland and was formerly part of the Soviet Union, plans to introduce a “social parasites” tax on the unemployed. Unlike in many Western nations, where the government helps the unemployed, in Belarus, the long-term unemployed will have to pay the government. The country’s president, Alexander Lukashenko, has said the $233 levy — around a month’s wages in Belarus — w ...
