Can we try a little peaceful game? Let's just say you are King for a Day. No senate, house, etc. You are the one making the rules. What would you do to fix this country? I'd like to hear some ideas without mudslinging and name calling. If you don't like what someone would do, please share why you don't like it and what you would do without calling someone a name. Maybe some subjects like healthcare, employment, fixing the debt, immigration. I bet there are some really good ideas out there. Let's show the politicians what a real debate is without mudslinging.

[ In Reply To ..]Well, one of my biggest beefs is all the illegals running around in this country. I believe people should be able to come to this country, but in the right way. We obviously know where many of them are because they are getting benefits, have driver’s licenses and use our healthcare systems. They get a period of time to become legal the proper way or they go back where they came from. I don’t care if your mother came here illegally and you were born here, you have to go through the steps to become legal. All benefits stop for the illegals. What’s with that anyway!! I don’t care if people here think they are too good for the jobs they do or not, then I guess we will go hungry until our own citizens start doing the work.
If you are truly in need of welfare, you will get it. If you are on welfare, you will be required to take a drug test. If you have a child while on welfare, you will not get a “raise.” The good citizens of my kingdom are not going to support you while you take drugs and pop babies out to get more money. You want to have more children, get a job like the rest of the people and take care of them yourself.
If you are a company and want to send your jobs offshore to places like China who do not play the trade game fairly, you will be heavily penalized. I would have to work on the strategy of my trade agreement for all the specifics. I believe there needs to be better rules on how we trade goods and offshore jobs where it is fair to both countries. I give you some, you give us some. Maybe someone can offer some suggestions.
I’ll go with that for now and see what somebody else can add or suggest something that would be better.
