Yes, we get it, questionable constitutionality. But what is the legislative plan for immigration - or is it a big secret?

Once again, no one is telling us what the Republican plan IS then for legislation on immigration, does anyone have that information?
Because if Republicans truly cared about the issue of immigration rather than just trying to find ways to block the president, someone should have that information; but thus far, no one has presented it.

I agree that the republicans have sat on immigration reform, which pretty much everyone in the country agrees needs to get done, but I'm wondering, since democrats care so much about immigration, why didn't they take it up during Obama's first two years in office, when they had a majority and could have done pretty much whatever they wanted, with no question of constitutionality?

They did. Bills S744 and HR 15, 113th Congress - S6 in 112th Congress, and so on
[ In Reply To ..]They did, actually the "S" indicates a senate-proposed bill, the "HR" indicates a house bill. Right now, there is a senate bill that passed that has been sitting waiting for a house vote since April 2013 called S744.
To go back further than the 112th and 113th Congresses (which are the years 2010-2012 and 2012-2014 respectively), simply google "immigration bills 111th Congress, 110th Congress to find more).
I'm checking into its terms now since no one knows the actual answer to my question (myself included).
It appears that every single time, it was a Republican that blocked the vote or never put it on the docket to vote for it at all.
In which case, Obama may actually have the right to sign an EO under prosecutionary discretion within the constitution. But since I'm no lawyer, I truly don't know.
