Hillary Clinton is the top choice for Ohio voters as she leads a pack of potential Republican 2016 opponents, according to a new poll.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan come the closest to Clinton, each trailing the former secretary of state by 7 percentage points, a new Ohio poll released by Quinnipiac University on Thursday shows. Clinton tops Rubio 47 percent to 40 percent and Ryan 48 percent to 41 percent.

I'll reserve judgment until I hear a full review of her diagnoses.

If Reagan did it, so can she. He had 2 clots in the - brain and was the same age.

[ In Reply To ..]
I've said it before-especially considering the advances in medicine since Reagan's time, she should be treated no differently than he was.

Except by the time the election is held, she will - really be an old hag.

[ In Reply To ..]
nm
She will be the same age as Reagan in his - first election. nm

Old hag? Is that what you call your mom or grandma? - nm

She'll be 69. And 69 is the new - 50!!!
[ In Reply To ..]
I hope she doesn't run, but just saying.

And did you insult Reagan similarly when he ran/was president since his age was similar/older?
Plus women usually live a LOT longer than men. - Physically & mentally theyre stronger.
[ In Reply To ..]
;)
That is not true - That is your opinion
[ In Reply To ..]
I see more elderly men widowers than I do women widows.

In my family and many of my friends family's our grandfathers and fathers have outlived our grandmother's.

Our neighbors wives are all frail, while the husbands are out doing the yard work, taking them to doctor appointments and doing the grocery shopping and other chores.

Hillary is going to be 69. That is too old for anyone. I don't care if Ronald Reagan was that age or not. Look what happened to him while he was in office. The older you are the greater the chances there is for some serious illness to come along.

Hillary also does not understand the needs of every day women like myself and our friends. She understands only her own greed.

She was one of the worst first ladies of our time, one of the worse SOS too. She is a pathological liar and just keeps lying thinking the bigger the lie will outdo the lesser lies. She lies so much it's just a habit to her.

She has had too many serious illnesses. Hitting her head and having brain injury is not a good thing for anyone. There is no proof yet she has recovered from it and by the things she says and does she has not.

There are way too many other women democrats who are qualified for the position. Not her. She needs to go home be a grandma to the baby coming and enjoy the rest of her life.
Don't know where you live, but that is definitely - NOT the norm, according to statistics.

It doesn't matter where I live. - It's that way all over the country
[ In Reply To ..]
Depends on who is putting out the statistics? Who have the interviewed? Where are they looking? How many places are they including in their "statitics". Who has a vested interesting in this? Killary's campaign? It wouldn't surprise me. But I do know That in most parts of the US the men are living longer than their spouses. Also don't know how many women you know of that are physically stronger than men. Men are born larger and stronger then women. Mentally stronger is your own opinion. Don't know where you live but there are many men who are mentally stronger than women. If you want to believe the opposite that is your preference and opinion, but it is not the case with everyone.

Are the candidates you mentioned really TP?

Secondly, while I think she would still beat these guys, its waaaaaay too early to take much away from this.

The GOP is just now oiling up its mud-slinging machine - and no real campaigning has started - meaning it's no surprise that she's in the lead.

I will say though that with GOP already starting attacks, they may have inside info she is going to run.

Yes, they are TP. Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan. - No balloon-bursting here.

[ In Reply To ..]
Yes of course it's too early to know anything, when we don't even have a list of confirmed candidates. But it's still fun!

I didn't realize they were - TP. So she really SHOULD

[ In Reply To ..]

I can't think of anything more "extreme" than murdering innocent babies.

you probably don't need to concern yourself with the GOP attacks.(sm) - nm

Every time she is maligned, whether deserved or undeserved, the Dims will start whining that she is a woman getting picked on.

that can't be so - NK

[ In Reply To ..]
There are women in this very thread calling her an old hag, a horse rode hard and put away wet, the wrong end of a donkey fitting her pretty well, and the old standby pants suit joke making a woman roll on the floor laughing. What could her being a woman have anything to do with it when so many women chime right in?

From Barbara Bush (older) to Palin younger and beautiful, I have not ever felt the need to insult them based on gender, sense of fashion, age, or looks.

As a woman myself, I deplore women trashing women. If one despises Hillary's policies, attack away. But if one resorts to insulting her in the ways noted above, it's cheap and it's immature.

Gender bias? - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
Just because I may insult a woman does not mean I'm against women anymore than insulting a man means I'm against men. It's politics. Everyone is fair game. I would draw the line at not insulting someone based on anything that is beyond their control, i.e., a disability. Other than that, all politicians and other people who choose to put themselves in a public light are fair game.
ad hominem attacks are immature - period.

When I read that 69 is too old for anyone and also the criticism of how she looks and dresses, I really wonder. Personally, I think Hillary Clinton is an extremely intelligent and capable woman and would make a great president.

Don't get too excited just yet. She hasn't come (sm) - LM

Of course, everyone by now is familiar with the New England Journal of Medicine survey: 46.3% of physicians polled are thinking of leaving medicine (probably retiring early, like mine). Others, of course, will simply not accept patients on Medicaid/Medicare. But wait - there's a "doctor fix", isn't there? It's supposed to take care of the Medicare/Medicaid payment cuts, and it's $210 billion. But guess what - they didn't include the doctor fix in the HCB because t ...

"GOP Resolve On Sequester Begins To Crack"Feb 07, 2013
Commentary from the Washington Post: "There’s been a good deal of chatter to the effect that Republicans still retain leverage in the sequester fight, because some of them are willing to let the sequester happen. But Politico reports that GOP resolve is cracking, with GOPers privately conceding that they’d prefer to reach a deal, because the politics of allowing deep spending cuts, a gutting of defense, and a major hit to the economy are too dangerous. Of course, GOP aides ...
