My opinion is that they're exploiting Benghazi and the deaths for political reasons/upcoming elections.
I'm also of the opinion that voters will be more inclined to be future-oriented. Things like raising the minimum wage, creating jobs, repairing the infrastructure, etc. are more realistic priorities for most voters.

The reality of the situation is that the BO administration wanted the Benghazi tragedy swept under the rug at all costs during his political campaign so it would not negatively impact his re-election. Someone has a real short memory here. In addition, his administration continues to want it to go away quietly so it will not negatively impact the Democrats up for election in November and beyond. Yeah, good luck with that.

I'm sure they felt it would make them look weak on foreign affairs if they didn't come up with a statement about what happened right away, so unfortunately the made assumptions before they had the facts. But the people who are to be held responsible for this tragedy are the terrorists who perpetrated the attack. If we are to blame the US Government for actions by attacks on our country on foreign or domestic soil, we need to hold generations of administrations responsible.
I don't think the administration is that concerned that Republicans continue to bring up things that American people understand will not impact their lives like issues of wages, jobs, environment, education, veterans compensation, etc.
Benghazi was probed. The administration was harshly criticized. They need to heed the recommendations made, but it really is time to move on. I see this as only hurting the Republicans. They are all but ignoring the American people in order to persistently attack the president. Terrorists are responsible for the deaths of 4 Americans in Benghazi, not any American.

And then Susan Rice gets a promotion. There are other issues as well. The Obama administration wants this issue to go away, but it won't until everything has been asked and answered to everyone's satisfaction. The mother of one of the civilians was promised answers to her face by the President and Secretary. She still does not have those answers and her phone calls and email messages have gone unacknowledged.
What hasn't been asked and answered? The Senate Intelligence Report was quite - thorough.
