Here is how your representatives

Posted: May 5, 2017

I've already sent a message to my representative who did not represent me and let him know how I feel about his vote by voting yes.  Let them know how you feel!

;

You don't like that people should speak to - their representatives?

They are supposed to listen to us. If you like the plan then congratulate yours. I personally am disgusted with it and let mine know how I feel.

It had to be repeated. The ACA was ONE BIG FAT LIE from start to finish.

What on earth does that have to do with - writing your representative?

[ In Reply To ..]
It wasn't a lie. If your plan didn't meet the requirement then they had to change the plan. If your doctor didn't accept your plan then you need to take that up with your doctor.

The ACA was based on a lie. - ALL representatives needed to vote yes to repeal.

[ In Reply To ..]
Get mad at them if you like, but they had to repeal the ACA. It was based on lies and was unsustainable. Wake up!
I think you need to wake up. It was not - based on lies and

millions more have insurance because of it. they didn't have to repeal it, they wanted to repeal it because it was Obama who got it in and not them. They have their chance now to come up with something better or fix it and they come up with something that will put millions out of insurance. I am mad and you should be too.
You fail to finish your statement about millions more - having insurance because of ACA...
[ In Reply To ..]
millions more have insurance because...THEY PAY LITTLE TO ***NO*** MONTHLY PREMIUMS!

Bet you are one of them and you are more than fine with that so long as it is not *you* having to pay out the nose for premiums.

There is nothing accordable about the Affordable Care Act for those that do not qualify for subsidies or free Medicaid and many of those people can no longer afford insurance for their own families because their premiums are now higher than their mortgages! Fewer and fewer are buying into it making the few still remaining in the program suffering higher and higher premiums each year. My premiums sky-rocketed this year and no way in heck can we handle another increase next year like the one we suffered this year.

There may be no fix to "ACA" but there is absolutely no doubt that ACA is a disaster and needs repealed and the only ones who are in denial about that are those "MILLIONS" who are riding on the backs of the few remaining paying into it!
Bet you are wrong. I'm - not riding on anyone's

back. The difference is I don't mind helping those who need help like you apparently do. You don't want to help the poor but apparently think it is okay to help the ones who don't need the help.

Save it for someone else. - I don't believe you.

I guarantee if you are still "affording" ACA and happy with it, you sure the heck are not paying full price or even close to it but getting a big fat subsidy or free Medicaid.

Save it for some other sucker.
I don't care if you don't believe me - or not. nm

Stop listening to biased fake news. - BO administration full of lies.
[ In Reply To ..]
BO himself. Susan Rice. Let's not forget Chillary!

ACA WAS BASED ON LIES AND ROBBING PETER TO PAY PAUL.

WAKE UP!
One preexisting conditions are covered this is no longer insurance. - It changes the way things are priced,
[ In Reply To ..]
Obamacare bars insurance companies from setting prices based on a customer’s health history.

So if you are 25 and healthy you will be paying the same as a 75 YO with multiple health problems. The preexisting condition cost was coming out of the premiums everybody else paid.

This is no longer insurance. This is welfare.
Once people are used to the goodies, it will never go away. - That's what has already happened.

The end game is some other system will pop up for people who pay cash. I have already seen it in certain states. They take no govt money.
I agree with you! - anonon

I am sick about this whole thing. I happened to hear a snippet on a show last night where a US representative was talking to a constituent right after Obamacare was passed and the representative was shocked that the other guy told him that if you can't afford insurance you don't deserve it. How did people get so selfish and mean? I contacted my representative and told him my feelings on this abomination. Maybe Obamacare was not perfect, but at least it helped get more people coverage who needed it. I can only hope the Senate is smarter and more caring than smirky face Paul Ryan and the other reps. and changes much of it so that it does not cause the suffering that many are saying it will.
I can't afford a car to get to work or - get my children to school

Do I deserve a car from the government. Without a job I will be homeless as well as my children.

Can the government fix this?
Actually they can! - anonon

If you are in a situation like that there are social service programs all over the Unites States that help mothers get transportation cheap or sometimes free depending on how much you qualify for. Check in your state. I know in Maryland, Virginia, DC area a place called Vehicles for Change - they have a website. Not sure where you are, but check. All I am saying about the healthcare is that the hatred over this thing has become tangible - on both sides - and people seem to be getting uncaring about people who need the basics of healthcare and cannot afford them. I know that there are people who live off the system, but not all of the people who were helped the last few years are that way. I feel that every person deserves medical care if they need it and that it is a basic human right. It is almost like people are saying that they don't care if people die because it is survival of the fittest and to hell with the others who are too poor or weak to make it. That is what separates us from the animals - we have compassion.
If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor. That was the - biggest lie. Remember what

You seem hurt that your doctor did - not stay with the insurance

plan. Look to your money greedy doctor and the money greedy insurance companies. Check out their yearly incomes. That is where you will find the deceit.

This had no impact on me. - Person to whom you responded.

I have insurance through my employer.

I just saw the truth through the haze of the crack pipe and the lies.

My doctor is kind and thoughtful. He has - medical school debt, overhead and family

[ In Reply To ..]
He apologized and said he would love to keep me as a patient, but cannot afford to because of the reduced payments. Strange because he is receiving reduced insurance payments but I am paying more for my insurance.

Money greedy doctor? Wow. You seem to think health care due you, - but it's at someone else's 10-12 years o

I Want Many Of Us Who Vote Late To Get Hold Of News And Our Own RepresentativesMar 16, 2016
Okay, I am sick and tired of the news people going on and on about all the states who have caucused and voted in the primary. There are many of us who have not yet and the field is down to just three now. I want the chance to vote for one of the ones who are not there any longer. If this was a fair election, we all would vote on one day not different months. This is ludicrous. No fair election here. No wonder people do not trust politicians nor government. I wish we could get the news ...
