As a single person applying for myself, per the 21-page draft of the - *actual* application...
[ In Reply To ..](which was linked in the above article and again below), I'll have 7 pages to fill out, 3 of those of the check "no" or "N/A" variety (Step 3 and Step 4) and the last being the signature page. So 3 pages of info I have to fill out.
(10 pages in the application are 2 pages of info needed for each of persons 2-6 in a larger family)

[ In Reply To ..]Not only is it all the paperwork I have to fill out, but for me (and many others I know) it's having IRS agents in charge of my healthcare that doesn't sit very well. My physician will no longer be in charge of my healthcare, but some accountant whose purpose WAS supposed to be doing people's taxes - NOTHING ELSE! I'd like to know just where these tax people got their medical training to know whether a certain procedure will be needed for my health. Oh yeah, and on top of that, if I'm not in the correct political party will be a deciding factor too on what type of health care some stooge is going to approve or not. Oh yeah, that makes me feel really comfortable.
