It looks beautiful. They don't know if it's going to totally work; i.e., that there won't be a blow out from somewhere else before the relief wells are done.

To think that this could all have been avoided had regulations been followed and inspections had occurred. Pure negligence and we are all being punished for it.

It was the administration that wouldn't allow this new cap to be used until more facts and figures were done. They didn't want disappointment again.

[ In Reply To ..]Yes the inspector signed off knowing there were violations and he is not British. He is an American. My husband told me this as we have moved here from FL and work in the oil/gas field. He has connections and got the real story of this horrible disaster. It will come out in court. They had over 500 violations while the other oil companies had 5 barrels of oil spilt in 40 years!!
