Fox is reporting that the President WILL pull out of the Paris Climate Accord.;
The president is about to speak on this. - I suggest

listening to him rather than fake news from the MSM.
why would you listen to him when he doesn't - even know what the

Paris Agreement is about? I wouldn't call his talk fake news, I would call it ignorance about the agreement. I don't think he is capable of comprehending what this agreement is and obviously you folks don't either but you will hang on every ignorant false statement he makes about it.
Why do you think this will help - America become
[ In Reply To ..]
great again? How will it help us as a country become great again? What, specifically, does the Paris deal take from us as a country?
Have you done any research? JOBS, among other things - MT

I'm not a Trump fan, but he has very valid points.
Where will all of - these JOBS

Too bad you did not listen to the speech. - Maybe you can get a copy or google
[ In Reply To ..]
Trump gave multiple reasons.
Oh I listened! - All the while
[ In Reply To ..]
choking back nausea. Still the reasons amounted to - America needs to choose between clean air and water or jobs! Not really an answer to my question though!
and they were wrong reasons because he - doesn't understand it. nm

.
Can you explain it, have you read it? - Thanks.

Do you have a link to the full agreement?
and YOU are the authority on the Paris Accord - WHY EXACTLY.
[ In Reply To ..]
No post, no proof, no credibility.
It puts us under the rule of the U.N. which is something - Truthhurts
[ In Reply To ..]
we need to avoid. It's called New World Order where the U.N. and other countries will have the say over us. Do you really want that?
Plus, we have cut our emissions MORE than any other country...which the worse offenders don't have to follow the treaty for years after we are forced to follow it and PAY. We are the #1 sucker in the world to allow other countries push us around like they've been doing.
I posted a link yesterday complete with graphs that show that China if #1, India is #2, and I forget who the #2 offender of the climate is...so you would think THEY would be first to have to clean up their messes.
BTW, just because he decided not to go along with it doesn't mean we're free of it. We can't get totally out until 2020. In the meantime, he will be trying to negotiate the TERMS so we aren't the only country making the sacrifice.
Oh YAY! - How terrific!
[ In Reply To ..]
Now we are right with such groovy countries as Nicaragua and Syria who also decline to be in it! How much greater can he make us?
Like it was suggested above, you should have listened to the - President's words.
[ In Reply To ..]
Not the spin of the those who have Trump Derangement Syndrome, i.e., the lamestream media.
What specifically did you find ignorant? - Have you read the agreement?
[ In Reply To ..]
Give us your take on the Paris agreement with specifics.
Oh swell, - making America a laughingstock again
[ In Reply To ..]
USA, Nicaragua and Syria versus the entire rest of the world. What do you think the other 200 countries know about stewardship of the planet that Donald Trump does not know? How can this possibly benefit us to alienate EVERYONE? And don't say jobs, for the love of God. Those coal jobs are not coming back. Face it.
Most industry CEOs say it will hurt jobs. Nm - VTMT

pleaded with him not to do this. There are many jobs to be created with new technology and nothing to be gained from clinging to the old. Business leaders and the stock market will support more engagement with Paris accord. Read up on it.

A laughingstock? Countries are being attacked - by terrorists and they have time to laugh at US?
[ In Reply To ..]
Trump explained exactly what it would cost America versus the other 200 countries and once again others are getting a free ride at America's expense.
Try to educate yourself on the points Trump made and don't worry so much about being a "laughingstock" whatever that is.

Yeah - we know that is all Obama did. - Obama left a mess for Pres Trump.
[ In Reply To ..]
Maybe if Obama had put down the golf clubs and 1500-calorie burgers Obama so loved, once in a while, Pres. Trump would have inherited far less of a mess than what Obama left behind.
yea and... - LMT
[ In Reply To ..]
Bush left a huge mess for Obama and Clinton left a mess for bush, yadda yadda and so on... The only one I see that needs to put down the golf clubs and fast food and get to work is Trump. At least Obama knows how to stay in shape. This mess that Trump has is his own creation as he is destroying everything he gets involved with because he has no clue what he is doing and too busy tweeting. Maybe he should put his phone down and get busy...
I don't think Trump has a clue about the - Paris climate agreement
[ In Reply To ..]
It is a nonbinding agreement where the members pledged to do their own part to reduce greenhouse emissions. They set their own standards and the ways to implement them. It's not like we got a bad deal, that anybody is taking advantage of us. It's voluntary! Does Trump seriously think he is making a "deal" here? He is completely out of his league. Wouldn't you think he'd study up on how to be president so he doesn't make such a fool of himself and all the rest of us?
I'm pretty sure Trump knows more than you - or other MT posters on this board

He is a business man and a billionaire. He has advisors for every step he takes if he does not comprehend the project. He made a good decision and it was all about making US Great again.
Trump haters cannot sit here and say you know more about the complex Paris climate agreement than Trump and his staff.
I'm sorry, but - just because
[ In Reply To ..]
someone is a billionaire does not make them smart on everything. He may be good at negotiating real estate deals or bullying people who work for them and not paying them for their work, but he does not seem to know much about diplomacy or global agreements that are really long reads that he has already been proven not to like to do! Just because someone is a billionaire does not make them a good leader of a country - would you also think the Kardashians are next in line to run the country because they are billionaires and run a huge company?
But Syria and Nicaragua agree with US - to pull out ???
[ In Reply To ..]
anybody else see a problem here...I mean, even if he is not going to bother to become educated or hire anyone educated or consult anyone educated...could he just look around and see he is ALONE---wonder why?

don't want to carry the burden while other countries get away scott free. They need OUR money to fritter away, instead of using their own.
Since you admitted it's a nonbinding agreement and members pledged to do their part, we've already done our part. We are way ahead of the rest of the world in reducing emissions or didn't you bother to look at the link I posted yesterday either. Other countries haven't even started. China has 13 THIRTEEN more years before they need to start doing something. Is that fair????
So, by the time 2020 rolls around, maybe the other countries will wake up and have something in place but I still don't like the idea of the U.N. or even the rest of the world trying to rule our country.

Obama May Break His Promise on Iraq Withdrawal

U.S. troops were supposed to be gone by year's end. But the White House is now offering to leave behind a force 10,000 strong. During Pres. Bush's last year in office, he agreed to a timetable for troop withdrawals in Iraq: U.S. forces would leave by the end of 2011. The same year, Barack Obama insisted that if ele ...
