Gout

Anybody have any experience with gout? I am in extreme pain in my right foot with this and am just miserable. Hard to concentrate on working with the pain.

Gout - Ouch!
[ In Reply To ..]I am SO SORRY! Gout hurts so bad!! I found that if I take two tablespoons of tart cherry concentrate mixed in water a day, it helps prevent it for me. I had read that in an AARP newsletter and it really does seem to work.

[ In Reply To ..]Where do you get that? Somewhere in the grocery store I assume? The pain has lessened somewhat but it is still there. I have never experienced pain in my foot like that ever before. I was in tears. It hurt whether I was trying to walk or just laying down. I am willing to try anything.

Yesterday I posted about foot pain, and sure enough I was diagnosed with gout. I was put on an anti-inflammatory drug to cool it down, and in 2 weeks I am to have a uric acid level checked. Thanks for your comments yesterday. I have a very important question. I love canned pink salmon and eat quite a bit of it, especially lately.
