what is the best one-step cappucino/espresso

Can anyone give me any idea as to the best one-step cappucino or espresso machine? I want a nice machine, but simple, not a lot of work with prep or cleanup. Thanks for any help!

Just Google Aeropress.

It makes a pretty decent espresso shot, which you can then turn into a latte by filling the mug with milk and nuking it. No, you don't get any foo-foo foam, but it tastes the same!

I have a Starbucks Digitalia Barista made by Saeco which is almost completely automatic, and a lot of fun to use -- it grinds the beans and then clunk/clunk/clunk, voila espresso -- but definitely not cheap! I also have a semi-automatic made by Saeco as well, which is far less money (although still not cheap.) It makes excellent coffee also and steams the milk very nicely. If you check Amazon and eBay, you can find used/reconditioned machines for about half of the original price, sometimes less. I know there are other good brands out there, but I think the Sacoe (an Italian company) is one of the best.

This is the same sort of thing my grandmother used, and she was Italian, right off the boat! It's just a little coffee pot for the top of the stove. You put the water in the bottom compartment, coffee in the center, and it seals up under pressure, forcing the water through the coffee and perks it up to the top compartment. It's quite good. I grind espresso beans myself. I also pour the hot coffee over a piece of lemon peel, about 1-inch piece taken off with a vegetable peeler. I don't let it sit very long in the coffee, or else the flavor is too strong. But about a minute or less, and the coffee is soooo delicious. It really picks you up.

and I absolutely love it. I make my own "blackeyes" so I don't have to go to Starbucks and pay full prize. Make regular coffee and then the espresso with the Bialetti (mines makes up to 2 cups) on the stove, pour the espresso into the regular coffee and you're good to go for those long nights of typing. I actually found mines in a nearby Spanish grocery store (bodega) when I went in to buy these huge avocados they had on sale. They come in different sizes 2-4 cups, etc. I think I paid $9 for it and it makes the same quality espresso as an expensive $200-300 espresso machine.

I've been saving Paw Points for years and periodically I sit down and enter all my Paw Points.
