One more step in the right direction

just got approved for a streamline FHA refinance. will be dropping 2% on my mortgage, down from $815 a month to $643 a month. Closing cost is about as much as current mortgate so with the payment skipped the first month plus escrow check being cut i will actually make a little money on it. The bad: I have set myself back 5 years as I refinanced it for another 30 years but a lower payment will help me keep my house. Plus I can't rent a safe place for my family for less than $643 a month. Hopefully when I get out of college I can pay more towards the mortgage and catch back up to have it paid off in the original 25 years i have left.
I have cancelled credit cards, satellite and now am going to call tomorrow to see if i can refinance my car. I only owe a little more than 10K on it but it's worth a try.
Thanks for all of the well wishes and prayers. They were well recieved. I thought all was lost but after I saw there are good people out there who really do care it kept me going. I'll never give up hope again.

[ In Reply To ..]You have no where to go but up. Hoping that when my lease is up that I can get out of this complex. I have the neighbors from *&%$. It has done no good to talk to management and am afraid of what will happen if I try to talk to my neighbors on my own. They are pretty scary.
