ergonomic chair

Has anyone used The ERGO chiar? I have been looking for a good chair to help with my back problems but most are so expensive. This one looks odd but has a ton of great reviews on it's website. Just wonder if anyone has actually sat on one...

[ In Reply To ..]but I wonder how hard it would be to keep your balance while using a foot pedal? I suppose it could be done once you get used to it. I'd want to do a rigorous back (core) strenghtening exercise program before attempting to use it, though.

[ In Reply To ..]The muscles in my back give out so easily and I have to have something to lean against part of the time. I have scoliosis as well and my spine would be screaming if it didn't have some help supporting me.

Ball chairs - Have one
[ In Reply To ..]Ball chairs are not laze-in-it comfy affairs. They move and you have to work to stay upright and positioned correctly. There is no "back support" -- you have to supply that yourself. They are work or exercise, in other words.
If you want a good ergonomic chair, you are going to have to pay for it. I recommend the Herman Miller Mirra. My facility is enormous, but it purchases them for all employees, in spite of the cost, because they are so good. They actually have different sizes. We have some other brands, and HM Aerons, but employees prefer the Mirra. There is no comparison--all the others are hyped up rip-offs.
Look online for a sale and be sure to get the right size.
