What's your fashion style?

I need a nice dress (not too sexy, not too plain) to wear to a wedding of importance in the fall, and I am plus size, 1X. all I see out there are what look like prom dresses. I am looking at a floral dress, but wonder if that will enhance my size? I saw on at Penneys and it had all colors to is, and DH said it looked too springy. Don't have much money, I am an MT.
